Sometimes the easiest things we take for granted, until they gone then realized we even had it, fo' real.
"Some good things you find in the most unexpected places, with the most ordinary wrappings."
That's what I got reminded of last night when I was watching the Hallmark channel. I don't usually watch Hallmark but last night they ran the re-runs of The Biggest Loser Asia, so yea. After the show ended, which was at about 1.40 in the morning, I was ready to call it a night and hit the sack. Just for the sake of it, I pressed info to view the next program. It was a movie subtly named; The One. At that time, I wasn't too sleepy yet, so I figured what the heck, and continued to watch it.
To my surprise, it was one of the better movies I've watched in a long long time. No kidding. I'm too lazy to narrate the storyline here, but it's basically about a chef who likes this girl, but later finds out that she's engaged. Things get complicated when he gets hired to cater for her wedding. I'l stop there. If you want to find out more, go watch the movie. Knowing Astro, they'd probably re-play in the next few days, so no sweat.
In other news, it's the second day of Chinese New Year, and it' still hot as fuck. You know, when an Indian guy tells you it's hot...It's H.O.T! Goddamn global warming. I feel 2012 coming early. I don't want to switch on my air conditioner to cool me down, because if I do, i'd just be contributing more to global warming by happily releasing CFC. That's chlorofluorocarbon for all you scientifically challenged people. It's a gas that basically rips holes in the ozone layer. Yea.
Sigh. FML.
