You know that little cartoon show on Nickelodeon?
Avatar The last Airbender: The legend of Aang?
Yea, I love that show; even though it's a cartoon.
It has a really good storyline and plot, and you should really watch it first before calling me childish.
Anyway, I recently got to know that they are making a live action adaptation of the show. The move will be titled The last Airbender and it's directed by M. Night Shyamalan! Yes, the dude who directed The Village and wrote the script for Stuart Little.
I can't wait. It's scheduled to be released in July of next year (2010).
Oh and did I mention Dev Patel is a part of the cast? ;P

So give me reason to prove me wrong, to wash this memory clean, let the floods cross the distance in your eyes.
Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen
was E.P.I.C!
xD
was E.P.I.C!
xD
The day started out at around 10.00 am when I got up, got dressed and headed to Dhanraj's house to wait for Aaron. After Aaron arrived, all of us got into my car and went over to Aqil's to fetch him; and off we went to One Utama around 1.30 pm.
We parked our car, called Pras who had texted us that he was there already to meet us outside the Cinema and bought all 12 tickets right there and then. We didn't want to rick getting lousy seats. After all, this IS the public PREMIERE of the movie. So yea.
After purchasing the tickets,we met up with the rest and decided to have lunch at Carl's Jr. I forgot how good their Beef Chili Cheese Fries were till I had them again today. Yum yum! :) We spent most of our time after lunch just talking about anything and everything just to kill time. When it was around 4.30 pm we started making our way to the Cinema again to get our popcorn and drinks. Right at 5.00 pm; we walked in.
It took a while for the movie to start. I'd say it started at around 5.20 pm; when the theater was jam packed with people. I still remember that moment when the ads stopped playing, the screen got wider, and the lights dimmed. Haha, oh the ecstasy! xD
Oh, don't worry, I won't spoil it for all of you who haven't watched it yet. Will say a few other things though, to just give you all a heads up of what's in store. Ok so, if you loved the first one, you're bound to love this at least ten times more. This one had way more explosions, a way deeper plot, more focus on the Transformers rather than their human counterparts, more drama, way more action, way more humor, all new Autobots and Decepticons alike; way more of them! And yes, way more Megan Fox. It was the best two and a half hours of my life. Yea, you heard me; two and a half hours--super long movie. I enjoyed every second of it and I don't think this will be my only time watching it in the Cinemas. This has to be one of the best sequels to any movie.--EVER!
I am super happy right now. :P
I give the movie a 5 out of 5, and a full on recommendation to anyone who is hesitating to watch it. After the movie, the whole gang was still excited about it. I had to fetch Niro to the KTM Station so I left early.
Ahhh! I'm still so excited about this! xD

Aishiteru sayang Sizuka, kisu shite mo-ii Sizuka, itsumo suki-dayo Sizuka, aishiteru sayang Sizuka.
I just got home from the Japan Super GT a few hours ago.
It was awesome!
Since I got two Pit-Walk tickets, I took Aqil along.
We left early around 10.30 am, because we needed to be there way
before the race to attend the Pit-Walk, and we nearly didn't make it
cos' of this massive traffic jam due to an over-turned truck.
The line for the Pit-Walk was UBER LOOOOOONG; and it was HOT!

But we waited anyway.
And we took 'candid' pictures of each other while waiting.
Lol.

And trust me when I say, it was HOT!
Finally after a good 15 minutes the line started moving into the pits. It was cool going through the underground tunnels to head to the pit HQ. Once the pit lanes were open, everyone rushed in to get a better look at the cars and the GT Queens; and there were many of them. (Cars and GT Queens) You know, till just now, I thought the GT Queens that were at Malaysia's GT leg were all local; till I heard them speak Japanese with one another. That's when I realized that these chics are legit Japanese meat. xP

And we also spotted Julian! xD

There were also a bunch of European chics with one Asian promoting Aston Martins.
And they were all hot as well (Except maybe the Asian, who was the only person I was able to take a picture with. -.-) . Oh and two of them were freakishly tall as well.

Even the Safety car was cool. It was the new Nissan GT-R.

And this my friends, is EAGLE 14, from the new Malaysian Highway police artillery.
Its a modified Mitsubishi Lancer. Impressive, but no chance if it's going after a Porsche Cayman or even a 350Z I reckon.

After the Pit-Walk we went over to the Corporate Suites to have lunch while waiting for the race to start. The suite was super nice and cozy; and the food was awesome, but the suite sucked out the whole racing atmosphere as you can't really hear the crowd and feel the heat. So we just stayed in there for lunch and went back out. We just went in every time we felt hot and/or thirsty. xP

The race starting procedures started around 3.30 pm when all the GT Queens came out to the track and lined up and all for the National anthems of both Malaysia and Japan. That's when all the cars took their places on the track too.

All of a sudden, we spotted Julian on the middle of the track again! xP

Then the whistle to clear the area blew so that they could start the race. Everyone on the track were clearing out and the crowd got silent.

Few minutes after that, the countdown started, and the lights turned green, and off they went; and MAN ARE THEY LOUD!

The race went on for about an hour, but Aqil and I didn't stay for the duration of the race. That's cos' we were afraid of the jam and we both had Father's Day dinners to attend, so we didn't want to risk being late. Sent Aqil home before I reached home around 6.00 pm. All in all, a good day out and a good day free of boredom.
Here are some random shots from the day.

That's about it folks!

Something I found online while I was surfing the net aimlessly due to..

Very funny and kinda' accurate.
No elaboration on that statement will be provided.

Enjoy.
Don't deny it, girls especially! =P
I've had more than enough encounters with your kind during showers to know that most of what the video shows is true!
Ahahaha!
Oh by the way, I'm heading off to the Japan GT with Aqil tomorrow!
Finally, I won't be bored.
You know why?
Cos' where there are Japanese GTs, there are the ever sexy barely clad GT Queens!

Gravity release me, and don't ever hold me down, now my feet won't touch the ground.
Went to One Utama with the usual gang all reunited after the recent Singapore trip today to grab lunch and watch Drag me to hell.

Awesome movie; in my opinion.
I was doubtful at first when I heard Sam Raimi who usually specializes in the humor department, directed this film. And my doubts did come true; In a pleasantly good way. Movie was scary for the most part, but had elements of cleverly injected-dark comedy moments, which made the movie more appealing. I'm not going to give away any of the story line so don't worry.
All I'm saying here is that It's worth the RM8 I paid for, though the ending was a tad bit predictable.
All in all, good movie. =)
Next movie, Transformers: Revenge of the fallen.
And as you all might have heard, I'm going to the WORLD PREMIERE in sync with the USA'S timing, with the usual gang. Ahahahaha!
Aih, I feel like a kid in a candy store. *pout*
23rd, get your ass here already! xP
